SHIFT’s first-of-its-kind curriculum and accreditation process were created to support organizations and staff within the intellectual and developmental disabilities field as they work to adopt a Technology First culture.  A Technology First approach is essential to helping people with disabilities live their most independent, productive lives possible.  The supportive care of trained humans paired with the modern benefits of technology leads to positive outcomes.
